Happy 110th Birthday to my hero!

Dr. John Henrik Clarke's life and philosophy transformed and reshaped all of the indoctrination I absorbed through American institutions. For me, he was the "Carter G. Woodson" and "W.E.B. Du Bois" of my lifetime.

There is no way I could ever repay him or his legacy for the wealth of knowledge I’ve gained and the profound impact it has had on my work.

I am who I am because he was who he was.
