I recently had the opportunity to engage in a very thought-provoking discussion with Dr. Melanie Cunningham, host of the What Say U Podcast, and Dr. Brandy McMurry, from the UCSF Spiritual Care Team. We discussed anti-Blackness and bias, and its presence as an illness that has been produced by White people in and throughout American culture and society.
The discussion was very enlightening and illuminating and I am grateful to have been able to share space and community with these two brilliant Black women.
