Last week I had the honor to be hosted by Bea Rodriguez, Dr. John Hudson, and Lisa Corner at Everett College, in Washington state.
I am still processing the time shared with students, faculty, and staff. There are no words to describe the riveting nature of the awakenings had during both sessions. The conversations and interactions were deep and heavy. The weight of it all landed deeply in my body's joints and bones. I could go on to say much more but I will simply end this post by saying: Thank you to Bea Rodriguez for your ingenuity, diligence, love, concern, care, and persistence. You are truly a class act. I am very grateful you saw fit to bring my work to Everett. Thank you, too, Dr. Hudson, for your leadership, allyship, co-conspiratorship with Bea and the rest of the folks at Everett who need you. I appreciate you greatly for sponsoring both events. Lisa, thank you for your precision, leadership, management, and care throughout our entire experience. Your coordination and collaboration with my team and me were seamless. You made the entire experience smooth and easy. You are truly a prize.
