I had the opportunity to facilitate an antiracism leadership retreat on Tuesday, April 16th.
We spent the day engaging in antiracism leadership development skills practices that focused on shifting organizational and cultural attitudes and practices. All the leaders agreed to the recommended antiracism leadership competencies (which I developed in collaboration with the Justice Equity Diversity and Inclusion division) into their annual performance plans.
I appreciate the leadership of Director Jessica Brown, who has led this work with tremendous strength, dynamism, creativity, and precision. Thank you for clearing the path for us to do very meaningful and powerful work together. It has been truly outstanding to work with you! Thank you, too, to Alicia St. Andrews for your spirit, fortitude, and boldness. You are truly an amazing partner!
