Our country's national crime is lynching. It is not the creature of an hour, the sudden outburst of uncontrolled fury, or the unspeakable brutality of an insane mob. First of all, my heart goes out to the victims and families of the people attacked in Gilroy, California and El Paso Texas within the last several days. I grieve for the victims and their families and am wishing comfort and strength upon the survivors and their families.
